IRS Reports Increase in Tax Scams - Fellow tax blogger, Kelly Phillips Erb (aka TaxGirl) warms of the increasing amount of rubbish claims out there, asking consumers to file for false tax credits and rebates. Check out her list of warning signs to look out for in a typical scam. Remember, IRS agents will never ask you for personal information over email!
