The article was about the criticism lodged against the tax negotiation-resolution industry. Actor Wesley Snipes’ request for an appeal for a 3-year prison term was rejected by the Supreme Court in the beginning of June. Snipes was sentenced to prison until 2013 after his 2008 trial conviction of three misdemeanor charges of willful failure to file income tax returns from 1999 to 2001.
