Nicholas Cage Wins Appeal with the IRS - Special Treatment or Fair Settlement?

Nicolas Cage just won a deal with the Internal Revenue Service to pay $666,000 plus interest for improperly deducting $3.3 million in personal expenses from 2002 to 2004. Earlier this year, Cage contested a personal IRS bill for $814,000 in taxes, interest and penalties, while his Saturn Productions of Los Angeles company was stuck with a bill for $988,000.

Alaska Man Headed Back to Prison for not Paying Taxes

      Donald Louis Hymes, 73, a resident of Fairbanks, Alaska, was sentenced to five months in prison for violating conditions of supervised release. IRS Official Charged in Tax-Refund Scheme

The IRS busted one of its own.
Jesse Pedro Hernandez Jr., 30, of Fresno, Calif., is charged with an 11-count tax fraud indictment.Â

What’s even worse than paying bills?  Paying extra or surprise charges on your bills! Santa Monica, CA resident, Aurelie Foucaut, opened her wireless bill to read $59.77 in ordinary usage charges and a data service roaming charge of $2,367.40!
