Michael Rozbruch, Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Michael Rozbruch is the firm’s founder and one of the nation’s leading experts on solving individual and small business IRS tax problems. As a Certified Tax Resolution Specialist (CTRS) and CPA (licensed in the state of Maryland), he has represented thousands of taxpayers who owe the IRS, but simply cannot afford to pay. Michael has been a guest speaker on over 100 radio stations across the country and has been interviewed on numerous TV news programs as a nationally recognized expert guest speaker. He is the recipient of ASTPS’s prestigious ‘Top Practitioner’ fall 2005 Award, which recognizes distinguished members for their exemplary professional accomplishments, dedication, and contributions to the organization and the profession.

In the past year alone, Michael and team have successfully settled hundreds of Offers in Compromise (IRS settlements) usually saving clients 87% of their outstanding tax bill. His success rate is approaching 90% and is one of the highest in the industry. He has saved his clients in excess of $35 Million dollars over the past ten years.

Michael has 30 years of general business experience, mostly in the financial arena, with the last ten years, dedicated to helping individuals and businesses solve their IRS collection related problems. He started out in the corporate world, and rose to the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of both large and small public companies.

He is a graduate of S.U.N.Y. at Brockport, Brockport, New York, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. He is a licensed CPA in the state of Maryland. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Maryland Association of CPA’s (MACPA), the Better Business Bureau (BBB), International Academy of Collaborative Professionals, charter member of the American Society of IRS Problem Solvers (ASIPS), member of the Disciplinary Committee of the American Society of Tax Problem Solvers (ASTPS), and a recognized inductee into the ‘Who’s Who’ in finance and Industry.

Brian Compton, President

Brian Compton joined the firm in 2004. He oversees day-to-day operations, strategy and business development.

Brian has extensive background in consumer products and retail operations and has held key financial roles in a number of publicly traded corporations. He has 23 years of general management and financial experience. Brian began his professional career at KPMG (Big 4 Accounting Firm) where he was a member of their tax practice- overseeing a broad spectrum of clients- corporate, partnership and individual. Most recently, he was the Senior Vice President of Finance, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Information Officer for Universal Studios Hollywood and CityWalk. During his five year stint with the entertainment conglomerate (owned by NBC a division of General Electric), he oversaw the transformation of the Finance, Accounting and IT organizations and information systems. He has also held key financial positions with Coach Leatherware, a division of Sara Lee and Pepsi Cola Co. East.

He is a graduate of the University of California at Los Angeles, with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. He has also taken post graduate courses in taxation at the University of Southern California. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of California and a Certified Tax Resolution Specialist (CTRS). He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the California Society of CPA’s, the American Society of Tax Problem Solvers, the Better Business Bureau and a recognized inductee into the ‘Who’s Who’ in America.
